Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: small flathead screwdriver, new battery (CR2032), and a clean cloth.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked in a safe, well-lit area.
2. Open the Key Fob
  1. Insert the flathead screwdriver into the slot on the side of the key fob.
  2. Gently twist the screwdriver to separate the two halves of the key fob.
  3. Be cautious not to damage the plastic casing.
3. Replace the Battery
  1. Remove the old battery from the key fob casing.
  2. Clean the battery compartment lightly with a cloth to remove any corrosion.
  3. Insert the new battery (CR2032) ensuring the positive (+) side is facing up.
4. Reassemble the Key Fob
  1. Align the two halves of the key fob.
