Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
  • Place wheel chocks behind the rear wheels for safety.
2. Inspect and Replace Worn Components
  • Sway Bar Links
    • Use a socket set to remove the bolts securing the sway bar links to the sway bar and control arms.
    • Replace with new sway bar links, ensuring that the bolts are tightened to the manufacturer's specified torque.
  • Shocks/Struts
    • Remove the wheels using a jack and jack stands.
    • Disconnect the upper and lower mount bolts from the shocks/struts.
    • Replace the shocks/struts with new components, ensuring correct alignment with mounting points.
    • Torque bolts to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Control Arm Bushings
    • Remove the control arm by unbolting it from the frame and the steering knuckle.
    • Press out the old bushings and install new ones. Reinstall the control arm and torque to the specified values.
3. Final Assembly
  • Reinstall the wheels and lower the vehicle from the jack stands.
  • Ensure all tools are removed from the work area.
