Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Small flathead screwdriver, new key fob battery (CR2032), and a soft cloth.
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a safe area, and all electronic components are off.
  • Disconnect the vehicle battery for safety while working on the key fob.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Use the small flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob casing.
  2. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new CR2032 battery, ensuring the positive side is facing up.
  3. Reassemble the key fob casing, making sure it snaps back together securely.
