Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Fuse puller or needle-nose pliers, safety gloves, multimeter (optional)
  • Gather replacement fuses of the correct amperage as specified in the owner’s manual.
2. Locate the Fuse Box
  • Open the driver's side door and remove the cover panel on the left side of the dashboard.
  • Locate the fuse box under the dashboard. There is a second fuse box located in the engine compartment; access it by opening the hood.
3. Remove the Faulty Fuse
  • Use the fuse puller or needle-nose pliers to grasp the blown fuse.
  • Pull the fuse straight out of the socket gently to avoid damaging the surrounding fuses.
4. Inspect and Replace the Fuse
  • Inspect the removed fuse; if the wire inside the fuse is broken or melted, it is confirmed blown.
  • Insert a new fuse of the same amperage in the same slot, ensuring it is seated firmly.
5. Reassemble and Test
  • Reinstall the fuse box cover or dashboard panel back into place.
  • Turn on the vehicle and test the electrical components to ensure they are functioning properly.
