Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts needed for the repair.
  • Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.
2. Inspect and Replace Door Lock Actuators
  1. Remove Door Panel

    • Use a trim removal tool to gently pry off the door panel clips.
    • Unscrew any screws securing the door panel (typically located near the handle and bottom of the panel).
    • Carefully lift the door panel upwards to detach it from the door.
  2. Access the Door Lock Actuator

    • Locate the door lock actuator inside the door cavity.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector from the actuator by pressing the release tab.
  3. Remove the Actuator

    • Unscrew any screws or bolts securing the actuator to the door frame.
    • Carefully pull out the actuator from its housing.
  4. Install New Actuator

    • Position the new actuator in place and secure it with screws or bolts.
    • Reconnect the electrical connector to the actuator.
3. Reassemble Door Panel
  1. Reattach Door Panel

    • Align the door panel with the door frame and press it down to engage the clips.
    • Screw in any screws removed earlier to secure the panel.
  2. Reconnect Battery

    • Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery and ensure it is secure.
