Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is cool.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts during repairs.
2. Clean the Throttle Body
  • Tools Required: Throttle body cleaner, cleaning cloths, screwdriver set.
  • Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body.
  • Spray throttle body cleaner inside the throttle body while opening the throttle valve manually.
  • Wipe away carbon deposits with a clean cloth.
  • Reattach the air intake duct securely.
3. Replace Spark Plugs
  • Tools Required: Socket set, torque wrench, gap gauge.
  • Remove the engine cover (if applicable).
  • Disconnect the ignition coils by removing the electrical connectors and unscrewing them.
  • Remove the old spark plugs using the appropriate socket.
  • Install new spark plugs, ensuring they are gapped correctly per manufacturer's specifications.
  • Reinstall the ignition coils and reconnect the electrical connectors.
  • Reattach the engine cover.
4. Inspect and Replace Fuel Filter
  • Tools Required: Fuel line disconnect tool, socket set, safety glasses.
  • Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.
  • Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter using the fuel line disconnect tool.
  • Remove the old fuel filter and install the new one, ensuring proper orientation.
  • Reconnect the fuel lines and replace the fuel pump fuse.
