Solution
1. Preparation
  • Park the vehicle on a flat, stable surface and engage the parking brake.
  • Gather tools and parts for the repair.
  • Disconnect the battery before working on electrical components.
2. Inspect and Replace Suspension Components

A. Remove the Wheel

  • Use a jack to lift the vehicle and secure it with jack stands.
  • Remove the lug nuts with a socket set and take off the wheel.

B. Inspect Suspension Components

  • Check the sway bar links and bushings for any signs of wear.
  • If worn, remove the sway bar link by unscrewing the bolts.
  • Inspect the control arms and bushings for any signs of damage. Replace if necessary.

C. Replace Shock Absorbers/Struts

  • If the shocks are worn, remove the bolts securing the shock to the strut tower and lower control arm.
  • Carefully detach the shock absorber from the vehicle.
  • Install the new shock absorber in reverse order and torque to the manufacturer's specifications.

D. Reassemble

  • Reattach the wheel and hand-tighten the lug nuts.
  • Lower the vehicle and torque the lug nuts to the specified value.
3. Final Checks
  • Reconnect the battery and check for any warning lights on the dashboard.
  • Perform a final visual inspection of all components to ensure proper installation.
