Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a safe location and set the parking brake.
  • Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to prevent electrical shorts.
2. Check and Replace Fuses
  • Locate the fuse box (usually under the dashboard or in the engine compartment).
  • Remove the cover and visually inspect all relevant fuses.
  • Replace any blown fuses with the same amperage rating.
3. Inspect Fuel System
  • Locate the fuel pump relay and test it with a multimeter.
  • If faulty, replace the fuel pump relay.
  • If the fuel pump does not activate, check the fuel pump connections and replace the fuel pump if necessary.
4. Test Ignition System
  • Remove a spark plug wire and insert a spark tester.
  • Crank the engine and observe if a spark is present.
  • If no spark is detected, check the ignition coil and replace if necessary.
5. Inspect Starter Motor
  • Locate the starter motor and check connections for tightness.
  • Test the starter motor by directly applying battery voltage to it.
  • If the starter motor does not engage, replace it.
6. Reconnect Battery and Test
  • Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
  • Attempt to start the vehicle and monitor for any abnormal sounds or issues.
