Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts needed for the repair.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.
2. Inspect and Replace Spark Plugs
  1. Remove the engine cover (if applicable) using a socket set.
  2. Disconnect the ignition coils from the spark plugs.
  3. Use a spark plug socket to remove the old spark plugs.
  4. Inspect the spark plugs for wear or deposits; replace with OEM specifications if needed.
  5. Gap the new spark plugs according to manufacturer specifications.
  6. Install the new spark plugs and reconnect ignition coils.
  7. Reattach the engine cover.
3. Clean the Throttle Body
  1. Locate the throttle body and remove the air intake duct.
  2. Use a throttle body cleaner and a clean cloth to remove carbon buildup.
  3. Open the throttle plate manually (if possible) to clean inside edges.
  4. Reattach the air intake duct securely.
4. Check and Clean Air Intake System
  1. Inspect the air filter; replace it if it’s dirty.
  2. Inspect the intake hoses for cracks or leaks.
  3. Clean the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor using MAF sensor cleaner.
  4. Reconnect all hoses and ensure a tight fit.
5. Test Fuel Pressure
  1. Connect the fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail.
  2. Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting to check the pressure.
  3. Consult specifications for the correct pressure value; replace the fuel pump if pressure is low.
  4. Disconnect the gauge and secure any open fuel lines.
