Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts needed for the repair.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.
2. Replace Spark Plug
  • Remove the engine cover if necessary.
  • Locate the spark plug for cylinder 1.
  • Use a spark plug socket to remove the old spark plug.
  • Inspect the spark plug socket for debris and clean if necessary.
  • Install the new spark plug (use OEM specifications for torque, typically 12-15 Nm).
  • Reattach the spark plug wire or ignition coil.
3. Replace Ignition Coil (if necessary)
  • If the ignition coil is suspected to be faulty, remove the connector and the mounting screw.
  • Carefully pull the ignition coil out of the cylinder head.
  • Install the new ignition coil and secure it with the mounting screw.
  • Reconnect the electrical connector.
4. Inspect and Clean Fuel Injector
  • Remove the fuel rail cover if applicable.
  • Disconnect the fuel injector connector for cylinder 1.
  • Use a fuel line disconnect tool to safely detach the fuel line from the injector.
  • Remove the fuel injector and inspect for clogs or damage.
  • Clean the injector using a professional fuel injector cleaner or replace it if necessary.
  • Reinstall the injector and reconnect all components.
5. Reassemble and Test
  • Reattach any engine covers that were removed.
  • Reconnect the battery.
  • Start the engine and allow it to idle for a few minutes to ensure proper operation.
