Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts needed for the strut replacement.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and secured with wheel chocks.
  • Wear safety goggles and gloves.
2. Lift the Vehicle
  • Using a hydraulic jack, raise the vehicle and secure it with jack stands.
  • Remove the wheels to access the strut assembly.
3. Remove the Old Struts
  • Front Struts:

    1. Disconnect the sway bar link from the strut.
    2. Unbolt the brake line bracket from the strut.
    3. Remove the two bolts securing the strut to the steering knuckle.
    4. Remove the top strut mount nuts from the engine bay, using a socket.
    5. Carefully pull the strut assembly out from the vehicle.
  • Rear Struts:

    1. Remove the lower bolt securing the strut to the trailing arm.
    2. Unfasten the top strut mount nuts within the trunk.
    3. Pull the rear strut assembly out of the vehicle.
