Solution
1. Preparation

2. Remove the Wheel
  • Loosen the lug nuts while the wheel is still on the ground.
  • Lift the vehicle using a hydraulic jack.
  • Remove the lug nuts completely and take off the wheel.
3. Inspect and Replace Brake Rotors
  1. Check for Warping:
    • Use a dial indicator gauge to measure rotor runout.
    • If warping exceeds manufacturer specifications, replace the rotor.
  2. Remove the Brake Caliper:
    • Unbolt the caliper from the bracket (usually two bolts).
    • Hang the caliper using a wire to avoid straining the brake line.
  3. Remove the Rotor:
