1. Preparation

• Tools Required: O2 sensor socket, ratchet, torque wrench.
• Remove the downstream oxygen sensor (after catalytic converter):
  1. Locate the sensor, usually found on the exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter.
  2. Use the O2 sensor socket to unscrew the sensor.
  3. Install the new sensor, ensuring it is tightened to the manufacturer’s specification (typically around 30 Nm).
• Repeat for the upstream oxygen sensor if needed.

3. Check and Replace Catalytic Converter

• Tools Required: Socket set, torque wrench, exhaust gaskets.
