Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts required for the repair.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety.

Tools Required:

  • OBD-II scanner
  • Multimeter
  • Fuel pressure gauge
  • Socket set
  • Torque wrench
2. Remove Engine Cover
  • Unscrew and remove the engine cover to access the fuel injectors.
  • Set aside any clips or screws in a safe place.
3. Disconnect Fuel Injector Wiring
  • Carefully disconnect the electrical connectors from each fuel injector.
  • Ensure you do not damage the wiring harness.
4. Remove Fuel Rail
  • Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.
  • Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel rail using appropriate tools.
  • Unscrew the bolts securing the fuel rail to the intake manifold.
  • Gently lift the fuel rail and remove the fuel injectors from the rail.
5. Inspect and Replace Fuel Injectors
  • Inspect the old fuel injectors for clogs or physical damage.
  • If defective, replace with new fuel injectors (ensure they match OEM specifications).
  • Lubricate the O-rings of the new injectors with clean engine oil before installation.
6. Reassemble Components
  • Reinstall the fuel injectors into the fuel rail and secure with bolts.
  • Reattach the fuel rail to the intake manifold, tightening bolts to specified torque (usually around 15-20 Nm).
  • Reconnect the fuel lines and ensure they are secure.
7. Reconnect Wiring and Battery
  • Reconnect the electrical connectors to each fuel injector.
  • Reinstall the engine cover and secure it.
  • Reconnect the battery.
