Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts required for the repair.
  • Disconnect the vehicle's battery to avoid electrical shock.
2. Replace the Wiper Motor (if faulty)
  1. Remove the Wiper Arms

    • Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry off the plastic covers at the base of the wiper arms.
    • Use a socket set to remove the nut securing each wiper arm.
    • Pull the wiper arms straight off the splines.
  2. Remove the Cowling Cover

    • Unscrew the retaining clips or screws holding the cowling cover in place.
    • Carefully lift the cowling to expose the wiper motor.
  3. Disconnect the Wiper Motor

    • Unplug the wiring harness from the wiper motor.
    • Remove the mounting bolts securing the wiper motor to the vehicle chassis using a socket set.
  4. Install the New Wiper Motor

    • Position the new wiper motor in place and secure it with the mounting bolts.
    • Reconnect the wiring harness to the new motor.
3. Replace Wiper Blades (if worn)
  1. Remove Old Wiper Blades

    • Press the release tab on the wiper blade connector and slide the blade off the arm.
  2. Install New Wiper Blades

    • Align the new wiper blade with the wiper arm and slide it on until it clicks into place.
4. Reassemble Components
  • Reattach the cowling cover and secure it with screws or clips.
  • Reinstall the wiper arms and secure them with their nuts.
  • Replace the plastic covers over the wiper arm bases.
5. Final Checks
