Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts required for the repair.
  • Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
  • Allow the engine to cool completely before starting work.
2. Replace Ignition Coil
  • Tools Required: Socket set, torque wrench, pliers.
  • Remove the engine cover if applicable.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the ignition coil on cylinder 3.
  • Unscrew the ignition coil bolt and remove the coil from the cylinder head.
  • Install the new ignition coil and tighten the bolt to the manufacturer's specifications (usually around 8 Nm).
  • Reconnect the electrical connector.
3. Replace Spark Plug
  • Tools Required: Spark plug socket, torque wrench.
  • Remove the ignition coil as described in the previous step.
  • Use a spark plug socket to carefully unscrew and remove the old spark plug.
  • Inspect the spark plug for wear; replace if necessary with the correct type (refer to the owner's manual for specifications).
  • Apply anti-seize compound on the new spark plug threads (if recommended) and install it.
  • Torque the spark plug to the manufacturer's specifications (usually around 25 Nm).
  • Reinstall the ignition coil.
4. Inspect and Clean Fuel Injector
  • Tools Required: Fuel injector cleaning kit (if needed), basic hand tools.
  • Disconnect the fuel line from the injector (ensure to relieve fuel pressure first).
  • Remove the fuel injector retaining clips and pull out the injector.
  • Clean the injector with a cleaning kit or replace it with a new one if necessary.
  • Reinstall the fuel injector and reconnect the fuel line.
5. Reassemble and Test
  • Reinstall the engine cover.
  • Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
  • Start the engine and allow it to idle for a few minutes.
