Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shock.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is off.
2. Remove Headlight Assembly
  • Tools Required: Socket set, flat-head screwdriver
  • Remove any trim pieces or covers that obstruct access to the headlight assembly.
  • Unscrew the bolts securing the headlight assembly using a socket set.
  • Gently pull the headlight assembly out of the vehicle, being careful not to damage the wiring.
3. Inspect and Replace Bulbs
  • Tools Required: None specific, unless using a bulb puller
  • Remove the bulb socket from the headlight assembly by turning it counter-clockwise.
  • Pull the old bulb straight out of the socket.
  • Insert a new bulb into the socket, making sure it is seated properly.
  • Reconnect the bulb socket by turning it clockwise until it is secure.
4. Check and Replace Fuses
  • Tools Required: Fuse puller or needle-nose pliers
  • Locate the fuse box and identify the headlight fuse using the diagram on the cover.
  • Pull the fuse out and inspect it for continuity.
  • Replace with a new fuse of the same amperage if the old fuse is blown.
5. Reinstall Headlight Assembly
  • Align the headlight assembly back into its position.
  • Secure it with the bolts removed earlier.
  • Reattach any trim pieces or covers that were removed.
6. Reconnect Battery and Test
  • Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
  • Turn on the headlights to test functionality.
  • Adjust the headlight alignment if necessary.
