Solution

1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to ensure safety during repairs.

2. Clean Throttle Body

• Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body.
• Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the inside of the throttle body.
• Reattach the air intake duct securely.

3. Replace Fuel Filter (if applicable)

• Locate the fuel filter; it may be integrated into the fuel pump on some models.
• Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.
• Disconnect the fuel lines using appropriate tools and remove the old fuel filter.
• Install the new fuel filter, ensuring all connections are tight and secure.
• Reinstall the fuel pump fuse.

4. Inspect and Clean MAF Sensor

• Disconnect the MAF sensor connector.
• Remove the MAF sensor from the air intake duct.
• Use MAF sensor cleaner to gently clean the sensor wires or elements.
• Reinstall the MAF sensor and reconnect the electrical connector.

5. Check Transmission Fluid

• Locate the transmission dipstick or fill plug and remove it.
• Check fluid level and condition; if low or burnt, consider a transmission fluid change.
• Add the appropriate type of transmission fluid if necessary.
