Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shorts.
2. Cleaning the Throttle Body
  • Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
  • Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the inside of the throttle body, removing any carbon deposits.
  • Ensure the throttle plate moves freely; manually open and close it if necessary.
  • Reattach the air intake duct securely.
3. Inspecting and Replacing the Throttle Position Sensor
  • Locate the throttle position sensor on the throttle body.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor.
  • Remove the mounting screws and carefully take out the old sensor.
  • Install the new throttle position sensor, ensuring it is seated properly.
  • Reconnect the electrical connector.
4. Inspecting and Replacing the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal again if reconnected.
  • Locate the accelerator pedal position sensor under the dashboard.
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the sensor.
  • Remove the sensor from the pedal assembly.
  • Install the new accelerator pedal position sensor and reconnect the wiring harness.
5. Reconnect Battery and Reset System
  • Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
  • Start the vehicle and allow it to idle for a few minutes to let the ECU relearn the throttle settings.
