Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: jack, jack stands, socket set, pry bar, torque wrench.
  • Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Lift Vehicle
  • Use the jack to lift the front or rear of the vehicle, depending on where the noise is coming from.
  • Secure the vehicle with jack stands for safety.
3. Inspect and Replace Shock Absorbers/Struts
  • Remove the wheel to access the suspension components.
  • Unbolt the upper and lower mounts of the shock absorber/strut assembly.
  • Remove the old shock absorber/strut and install the new one.
  • Torque the mounting bolts to the manufacturer's specifications.
4. Replace Sway Bar Links and Bushings
  • Locate the sway bar links and bushings.
  • Unbolt the sway bar links from the sway bar and lower control arm.
  • Remove the old bushings and install new ones.
  • Reattach the sway bar links and torque to specifications.
5. Inspect and Replace Control Arms (if necessary)
  • Check for excessive wear on control arms and bushings.
  • If damaged, unbolt the control arm from the frame and hub.
  • Install the new control arm and torque the bolts to specifications.
