  • Safety Warnings: Ensure the vehicle is in a safe location, and all doors are closed.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Use the flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob casing.
  2. Remove the old battery, taking note of the battery orientation (positive and negative sides).
  3. Insert the new CR2032 battery in the correct orientation.
  4. Snap the key fob casing back together securely.
3. Reprogram the Key Fob
  1. Sit inside the vehicle and close all doors.
  2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it from "Off" to "Run" (do not start the engine) eight times within ten seconds. End with the key in the "Run" position.
