Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts. Disconnect the battery to ensure safety during the repair.
2. Replace Cabin Air Filter
  • Locate the cabin air filter compartment (typically behind the glove box).
  • Remove the glove box by either unscrewing or unhooking it.
  • Take out the old cabin air filter and replace it with a new one.
  • Reassemble the glove box.
3. Recharge AC System (if necessary)
  • Connect the refrigerant pressure gauge to the low-pressure service port.
  • If the pressure is low, attach the refrigerant can and follow the instructions to charge the system. Monitor the pressure and avoid overcharging.
  • Disconnect the gauge once complete and check for any leaks.
4. Inspect and Replace Blend Door Actuator
  • Remove the dashboard trim and any panels obstructing access to the blend door actuator.
  • Disconnect the actuator connector and remove mounting screws.
  • Replace the actuator with a new one and reconnect the wiring.
  • Reassemble the dashboard components.
5. Check and Replace Fuses
  • Locate the fuse box and identify the fuses associated with the HVAC system.
  • Remove the suspected blown fuses and replace them with new ones of the same amperage.
