Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Jack, jack stands, lug wrench, torque wrench, mechanic's gloves, safety glasses.

2. Remove Wheel
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench.
  • Lift the vehicle and secure it with jack stands.
  • Remove the lug nuts completely and take off the wheel.
3. Inspect Wheel Bearing
  • Check for Play: Grasp the wheel and shake it to check for excessive movement.
  • Listen for Noise: Spin the bearing by hand and listen closely for grinding or roughness.
