Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety.
  • Allow the engine to cool if it has been running.
2. Clean the Throttle Body
  1. Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body (use a socket set).
  2. Spray throttle body cleaner into the throttle body and clean the interior surfaces with a soft cloth.
  3. Ensure the throttle plate moves freely and is not sticking.
  4. Reassemble the air intake duct and tighten the clamps securely.
3. Replace Throttle Position Sensor (if necessary)
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the TPS.
  2. Remove the screws holding the TPS in place using a socket set.
  3. Install the new TPS and secure it with screws.
  4. Reconnect the electrical connector.
