Solution

1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety.

2. Inspect and Clean Battery Connections

• Use a wire brush to clean the battery terminals.
• Ensure the terminals are securely connected and free from corrosion.

3. Test and Replace Alternator if Necessary

• Connect a multimeter to the battery terminals.
• Start the engine and check the voltage:
  • Expected voltage should be between 13.5 to 14.5 volts.
• If the voltage is below this range, replace the alternator.
  • Remove the serpentine belt.
  • Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove mounting bolts.
  • Install the new alternator and reconnect everything.

4. Check and Replace Fuses

• Open the fuse box and locate the fuses for the dashboard and lighting.
