why does my Genesis G70 shake when I brake

Solution

1. Preparation

• Tools Required: Jack and jack stands, lug wrench, micrometer, torque wrench, OBD-II scanner.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

2. Remove Wheels

• Loosen lug nuts with a lug wrench while the vehicle is on the ground.
• Use a jack to lift the vehicle and secure it with jack stands.
• Remove the wheels to access the braking system.

3. Inspect and Replace Brake Components

• Inspect Brake Pads and Rotors:
  • Check for uneven wear on brake pads.
  • Measure rotor thickness with a micrometer; replace if below minimum specification.
• Replace Brake Pads:
  • Remove caliper bolts and slide the caliper off the rotor.
