Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:

    • Lint-free cloth
    • Funnel (if adding fluid)
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is warm.

2. Check Fluid Level
  1. Locate the transmission dipstick.
  2. Pull the dipstick out and wipe it clean with a lint-free cloth.
  3. Reinsert the dipstick fully back into the tube.
  4. Pull the dipstick out again and observe the fluid level against the indicators on the dipstick.
  5. If the fluid is below the "Full" mark, additional fluid is needed.
3. Add Fluid (if necessary)
  1. If adding fluid, use a funnel to prevent spillage.
  2. Pour the appropriate transmission fluid (consult the owner’s manual for specifications, typically Dexron VI for this model) into the tube.
  3. Add fluid in small increments, checking the level after each addition until it reaches the correct level.
  4. Replace the dipstick securely after checking.
