Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is off.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent any electrical shorts.
2. Access the Headlight Assembly
  • Open the hood of the vehicle.
  • Locate the headlight assembly at the front of the engine compartment.
  • If necessary, remove any components obstructing access to the headlight bulb, such as the air intake duct or battery, depending on the side being worked on.
3. Remove the Old Bulb
  • Locate the bulb socket at the rear of the headlight assembly.
  • Twist the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it from the assembly.
  • Carefully pull the old bulb straight out of the socket, avoiding any pressure on the glass part.
4. Install the New Bulb
  • Take the new bulb (ensure it is the correct type: H11 for low beam or H9 for high beam) and avoid touching the glass with your fingers; use gloves or a clean cloth.
  • Insert the new bulb into the socket until it clicks into place.
  • Reinsert the bulb socket into the headlight assembly and twist it clockwise to secure it.
5. Reassemble Components
  • If any components were removed, reinstall them in the reverse order of removal.
  • Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
6. Test the New Bulb
  • Start the vehicle and turn on the headlights to ensure the new bulb is functioning properly.
