  • Ensure you have a replacement battery (CR2032 or as specified by the manufacturer).
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Open the Key Fob:

    • Use a small flathead screwdriver to gently pry apart the key fob casing.
    • Be careful to avoid damaging the clips holding the fob together.
  2. Remove Old Battery:

    • Take note of the battery orientation.
    • Remove the old battery carefully using a plastic tool to avoid damage.
  3. Install New Battery:

    • Place the new battery in the same orientation as the old one.
    • Ensure it is seated properly in the battery compartment.
  4. Reassemble Key Fob:

    • Align the two halves of the key fob and press them firmly together until they click into place.
3. Re-Synchronize Key Fob
  1. Enter the Vehicle:

    • Sit in the driver's seat with the new battery installed in the key fob.
  2. Turn on Ignition:

    • Insert the key fob into the ignition slot (if applicable) and turn it to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
