Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the ignition is off.
  • Have the vehicle key fob ready to access the ignition.
2. Turn Ignition On
  • Insert the key fob into the ignition or press the start button.
  • Turn the ignition switch to the “ON” position without starting the engine.
3. Access Trip Meter
  • Locate the trip button, usually found on the instrument cluster.
  • Press the trip button until the display shows “Odo”.
4. Turn Off Ignition
  • Turn the ignition switch to the “OFF” position completely.
5. Reset Maintenance Light
  • Press and hold the trip button.
  • While holding the trip button, turn the ignition back to the “ON” position.
  • Continue holding the trip button until the maintenance light resets and the odometer shows “000000”.
6. Verification
  • Release the trip button.
