Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Funnel
    • Lint-free cloth
    • Transmission fluid (Honda ATF DW-1 or equivalent)
  • Ensure the vehicle is in park with the engine running and on a level surface.
2. Check Fluid Level
  • Remove the transmission dipstick again.
  • Wipe it clean and reinsert to get an accurate reading.
  • Check the fluid level against the dipstick markings.
3. Refill Transmission Fluid
  • If the fluid is below the recommended level, prepare to add fluid.
  • Using a funnel, pour the specified Honda ATF DW-1 fluid into the dipstick tube.
  • Add fluid in small increments (about half a quart at a time) and recheck the level using the dipstick.
  • Continue until the fluid level reaches the appropriate mark on the dipstick.
4. Final Checks
  • Ensure the dipstick is securely in place.
  • Check for any leaks around the dipstick tube.
  • Dispose of any used fluids properly.
