Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.

2. Remove the Wheel
  • Use a lug wrench to loosen and remove the wheel lug nuts.

3. Disconnect the Tie Rod End
  • Locate the tie rod end attached to the steering knuckle.
  • Remove the cotter pin using pliers.
  • Use a wrench to loosen the castle nut on the tie rod end.
  • Use a tie rod puller or a hammer to detach the tie rod end from the steering knuckle.
4. Install the New Tie Rod End
  • Apply a light coat of grease to the new tie rod end.
  • Insert the new tie rod end into the steering knuckle and secure it with the castle nut.
  • Replace the cotter pin to secure the nut in place.
