Solution

1. Preparation

• Tools Required: Jack, jack stands, lug wrench, and safety glasses.
• Safety Warning: Ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and secured with jack stands before working underneath.

2. Remove Wheel

1. Loosen the lug nuts slightly while the vehicle is on the ground.
2. Use the jack to lift the vehicle and secure it with jack stands.
3. Remove the lug nuts completely and take off the wheel.

3. Inspect the Wheel Bearing

1. Grasp the hub assembly at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions to check for play.
2. If play is detected, proceed to remove the hub assembly.
3. Remove any retaining clips or bolts securing the hub.

4. Replace the Wheel Bearing

1. Remove the old wheel bearing from the hub assembly using a bearing puller.
2. Clean the hub and apply a suitable lubricant to the new bearing.
