Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Gloves, a clean cloth, and a flathead screwdriver (if necessary).
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and turned off.
  • Disconnect the vehicle battery to prevent any electrical shorts during the replacement.
2. Access the Headlight Assembly
  • Open the hood of the vehicle.
  • Locate the back of the headlight assembly; this will usually be near the front of the engine compartment.
  • Remove any covers or retaining clips that may be blocking access to the bulb. This may require a flathead screwdriver to gently pry off clips.
3. Remove the Old Headlight Bulb
  • Identify the headlight bulb socket.
  • Twist the socket counterclockwise to release it from the assembly.
  • Pull the bulb straight out of the socket; be careful not to touch the glass part of the new bulb with your fingers, as oil can cause it to fail prematurely.
4. Install the New Headlight Bulb
  • Insert the new bulb into the socket without touching the glass part.
  • Secure the bulb by twisting the socket clockwise until it locks into place.
  • Reattach any covers or clips removed in the previous step.
5. Final Checks
  • Reconnect the vehicle battery.
  • Turn on the headlights to ensure they are functioning properly.
