Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: Screwdrivers, socket set, multimeter, and a replacement horn or relay if necessary.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shock.
2. Replace the Horn Fuse
  • Locate the fuse panel under the dashboard or in the engine compartment.
  • Remove the horn fuse and inspect it for continuity.
  • If blown, replace it with a fuse of the same amperage (usually 15A).
3. Replace the Horn Relay (if necessary)
  • Identify the horn relay in the fuse box.
  • Remove the relay by pulling it straight out of the socket.
  • Insert a new relay in the same position.
4. Replace the Horn
  • If the horn is faulty, remove it by locating it at the front of the vehicle, usually near the radiator.
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the horn.
  • Remove the mounting bolts using a socket set and take out the old horn.
  • Install the new horn in the same position, tightening the bolts to the manufacturer's specifications (typically around 7-10 ft-lbs).
  • Reconnect the wiring harness.
5. Reassemble and Test
  • Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
  • Press the horn button to confirm functionality.
