Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: funnel, lint-free cloth, and a new CVT fluid (if needed).
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is warm.
2. Check CVT Fluid Level
  • For vehicles with a dipstick:

    1. Open the hood and locate the CVT dipstick.
    2. Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean with a lint-free cloth.
    3. Reinsert the dipstick fully until it clicks.
    4. Remove the dipstick again to check the fluid level; it should be within the marked range.
  • For vehicles without a dipstick:

    1. Locate the CVT fill plug on the transmission.
    2. Remove the fill plug using the appropriate socket.
    3. Insert a clean finger into the fill hole to check the fluid level; it should be level with the bottom of the hole.
    4. If low, add the specified CVT fluid using a funnel until the proper level is reached.
3. Fluid Condition Check
  1. Inspect the fluid on the dipstick or your finger for color and consistency.
  2. If the fluid is dark, burnt, or has a burnt smell, it may require a fluid change.
4. Reassemble
  1. If fluid was added, securely replace the dipstick or fill plug.
  2. Close the hood of the vehicle.
