Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather the necessary tools:
    • Tire pressure gauge
    • Air compressor (if needed for inflation)
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is off.
2. Inflate Tires
  • Check the pressure of each tire, including the spare.
  • Inflate any tire that is below the recommended PSI to the appropriate level.
3. Reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
  1. Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine.
  2. Locate the TPMS reset button, usually found under the steering column or around the left side of the dashboard.
  3. Press and hold the TPMS reset button until the TPMS indicator blinks three times, then release it.
  4. Start the engine and allow it to run for about 20 minutes to ensure the system re-calibrates.
4. Verify Reset
  • After the vehicle has been driven for a short distance, check if the tire pressure warning light has turned off.
