Solution

1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is turned off.
• Safety warning: Allow the engine to cool before working on it.

2. Check Oil Level

• Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean.
• Reinsert the dipstick and remove it again to check the oil level.
• If the oil level is low, add the appropriate oil type as specified in the owner's manual.

3. Inspect for Leaks

• Visually inspect the engine for oil leaks.
• Check around the oil filter and oil pan for signs of oil accumulation.
• If leaks are found, replace any damaged gaskets, seals, or the oil filter as necessary.

4. Test Oil Pressure

• Remove the oil pressure sending unit using a socket set.
• Install a mechanical oil pressure gauge in place of the sending unit.
• Start the engine and observe the oil pressure reading; it should be within the manufacturer’s specified range.
• If the pressure is low, further investigation is needed.
