1. Preparation

2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Open the key fob using a flathead screwdriver or a similar tool.
  2. Remove the old battery carefully.
  3. Insert a new battery (typically CR2032) with the correct polarity (+ facing up).
  4. Reassemble the key fob securely.
3. Reprogram Key Fob
  1. Sit inside the vehicle with the doors closed.
  2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn to the "ON" position (do not start the engine).
  3. Turn the ignition off and remove the key.
  4. Within 5 seconds, insert the key back into the ignition and turn to the "ON" position.
  5. Press and hold the "Lock" button on the fob for approximately 10 seconds.
