Solution

1. Preparation

• Gather tools and parts necessary for the repair.
• Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.
• Allow the engine to cool down before starting work.

2. Remove Engine Cover

• Use a socket set to remove the bolts securing the engine cover.
• Carefully lift off the engine cover and set it aside.

3. Disconnect Fuel Lines

• Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump relay and running the engine until it stalls.
• Use a fuel line disconnect tool to detach the fuel lines from the fuel rail.
• Have a rag handy to catch any fuel that may spill.

4. Remove Fuel Rail and Injectors

• Remove the bolts securing the fuel rail to the intake manifold using a socket set.
