Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: flathead screwdriver, replacement battery (CR2032), and a clean cloth.
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a safe environment.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Using the flathead screwdriver, carefully pry open the key fob case.
  2. Remove the old battery, noting the orientation (positive side facing up).
  3. Insert the new battery (CR2032) ensuring the correct orientation.
  4. Snap the key fob case back together securely.
3. Test Key Fob Functionality
  1. Stand near the vehicle and press the lock/unlock buttons on the key fob.
  2. Check if the vehicle responds by locking/unlocking or starting the engine.
4. Reprogram Key Fob (if necessary)
