my Honda Pilot YF3 (2016-2022) has poor acceleration, what could be wrong?

1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Disconnect the battery to ensure safety during repairs.

2. Clean or Replace Air Filter

• Remove the air filter housing cover.
• Inspect the air filter; if dirty, replace it with a new one.
• Reassemble the air filter housing securely.

3. Clean Throttle Body

• Remove the throttle body from the intake manifold.
• Use throttle body cleaner and a soft brush to remove carbon deposits.
• Ensure the throttle plate moves freely; reassemble the throttle body with new gaskets if necessary.

4. Test and Clean MAF Sensor

• Disconnect the MAF sensor connector.
• Remove the MAF sensor from the intake duct.
• Clean the sensor with MAF cleaner; allow it to dry before reinstallation.
• Reconnect the sensor and ensure it is secure.
