Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.
  • Allow the engine to cool before starting work.
2. Throttle Body Cleaning
  • Tools Required: Throttle body cleaner, soft cloth, screwdriver, socket set
  • Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body.
  • Use throttle body cleaner to spray inside the throttle body.
  • Clean the throttle plate and surrounding area with a soft cloth.
  • Reinstall the air intake duct securely.
3. Throttle Position Sensor Replacement
  • Tools Required: Socket set, torque wrench
  • Locate the throttle position sensor on the throttle body.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the TPS.
  • Remove the mounting screws using a socket set and carefully detach the sensor.
  • Install the new throttle position sensor, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  • Torque the screws to the manufacturer's specifications.
4. Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Inspection
  • Tools Required: Multimeter
  • Disconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor connector.
  • Using a multimeter, test the resistance of the sensor while pressing the accelerator pedal.
  • Replace the sensor if readings are outside the manufacturer's specified range.
5. Reconnect Battery
  • Reconnect the negative battery terminal securely and ensure all tools are removed from the engine bay.
