Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts needed for the repair.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on the fuel system.
  • Allow the engine to cool down before beginning work.
2. Remove Engine Cover
  • Remove any fasteners securing the engine cover using a socket set.
  • Carefully lift off the engine cover and set it aside.
3. Disconnect Fuel Injector Wiring
  • Carefully unplug the electrical connectors from each fuel injector, taking care not to damage the connectors.
  • If applicable, remove any clips or clamps holding the wiring harness in place.
4. Remove Fuel Injectors
  • Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.
  • Disconnect the fuel supply line from the fuel rail using a fuel line disconnect tool.
  • Remove the bolts securing the fuel rail to the intake manifold.
  • Gently pull the fuel rail away from the manifold to access the injectors.
  • Carefully remove each fuel injector from the rail, checking for any O-ring damage.
5. Install New Fuel Injectors
  • Lubricate the new O-rings on the replacement injectors with clean engine oil.
  • Insert the new injectors into the fuel rail and ensure they seat properly.
  • Reattach the fuel rail to the intake manifold and secure with bolts to the specified torque (usually around 20 Nm).
  • Reconnect the fuel supply line securely.
6. Reconnect Wiring and Engine Cover
  • Reconnect the electrical connectors to each fuel injector.
  • Reinstall the engine cover and secure it with the previously removed fasteners.
  • Reconnect the battery.
