Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool
    • Clean cloth or vacuum (optional for cleaning the area)
  • Safety Warnings:

2. Access the Cabin Air Filter
  1. Open the glove compartment and remove any contents.
  2. Locate the two stops on either side of the glove compartment and gently press them inward to release the compartment.
  3. Lower the glove compartment to access the cabin air filter cover.
3. Remove the Old Cabin Air Filter
  1. Identify the cabin air filter cover, usually secured with clips or screws.
  2. Carefully unclip or unscrew the cover to reveal the cabin air filter.
  3. Pull the old cabin air filter straight out of the housing. Note the orientation of the filter for proper installation of the new filter.
4. Install the New Cabin Air Filter
  1. Take the new cabin air filter and ensure it is oriented correctly (check for airflow direction indicated on the filter).
  2. Slide the new cabin air filter into the housing.
  3. Reattach the cabin air filter cover, ensuring it is securely fastened.
