Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Park the vehicle on a flat surface and engage the parking brake.
  • Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to ensure safety.
2. Throttle Body Cleaning
  • Tools Required: Throttle body cleaner, soft cloth, screwdriver set.
  • Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body.
  • Spray throttle body cleaner into the throttle body while moving the throttle plate manually.
  • Wipe away carbon deposits with a soft cloth until clean.
  • Reinstall the air intake duct securely.
3. Accelerator Pedal Sensor Inspection
  • Tools Required: Multimeter.
  • Locate the accelerator pedal assembly.
  • Disconnect the sensor connector and set the multimeter to measure resistance.
  • Check the resistance values according to the manufacturer’s specifications while pressing the pedal.
  • If readings are outside of specifications, replace the accelerator pedal assembly.
4. Battery Voltage Check
  • Tools Required: Multimeter.
  • Reconnect the battery terminal and turn on the ignition without starting the engine.
  • Measure the battery voltage; it should be between 12.4V and 12.8V.
  • If the voltage is low, charge or replace the battery.
5. Software Update
  • Tools Required: Tesla diagnostic tool or access to Tesla software.
  • Connect the vehicle to the Tesla service interface.
  • Check for any available software updates and follow the prompts to install them.
  • Restart the vehicle after updating.
