Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety while working on electrical components.
2. Clean Throttle Body
  • Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
  • Use throttle body cleaner and a soft brush to clean the throttle plate and surrounding areas.
  • Reassemble the intake duct and reconnect the battery.
3. Replace Fuel Filter (if necessary)
  • Locate the fuel filter in the fuel system.
  • Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and running the engine until it stalls.
  • Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter, taking care to catch any spilled fuel.
  • Install the new fuel filter, ensuring proper orientation and secure connections.
4. Inspect and Clean MAF Sensor
  • Disconnect the MAF sensor connector.
  • Remove the sensor from the air intake.
  • Use MAF sensor cleaner to gently clean the sensor elements.
  • Reinstall the MAF sensor and connector.
5. Replace Spark Plugs and Ignition Coils (if needed)
  • Remove the engine cover to access the spark plugs.
  • Disconnect the ignition coil connectors and remove the coils.
  • Use a spark plug socket to remove the spark plugs.
  • Install new spark plugs with the manufacturer’s recommended gap and torque specifications.
  • Reinstall the ignition coils and connect the connectors.
