Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and safety equipment.
  • Ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface, and set the parking brake.
  • Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to prevent electrical shock.
2. Clean or Replace Throttle Body
  • Tools Required: Socket set, cleaning brush, throttle body cleaner
  • Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
  • Spray throttle body cleaner inside the throttle body and scrub gently with a cleaning brush.
  • Reinstall the intake duct and reconnect the battery.
3. Inspect and Clean MAF Sensor
  • Tools Required: Torx screwdriver, MAF cleaner
  • Locate the MAF sensor within the intake system.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the sensor using a Torx screwdriver.
  • Spray MAF cleaner on the sensor and let it dry completely before reinstallation.
  • Reconnect the MAF sensor and electrical connector.
4. Check and Replace Vacuum Hoses
  • Inspect all vacuum hoses for cracks, wear, or loose connections.
  • Replace any damaged hoses with new ones to ensure a proper seal.
5. Test and Replace IAC Valve (if necessary)
  • Tools Required: Multimeter
  • Disconnect the IAC valve electrical connector and use a multimeter to check for continuity.
  • If the IAC valve is not functioning properly, remove it and replace it with a new valve.
  • Reconnect all components and wiring.
