Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather the necessary tools: a small flathead screwdriver and a new CR2032 battery.
  • Ensure you are working in a clean, dry area to avoid losing any small parts.
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Use the small flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob casing along the seam.
  • Carefully separate the two halves of the fob without damaging the internal components.
3. Replace the Battery
  • Remove the old CR2032 battery from its compartment.
  • Insert the new CR2032 battery, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing upwards.
  • Make sure the battery is seated properly in its holder.
4. Reassemble the Key Fob
  • Align the two halves of the key fob and press them together firmly until they snap back into place.
  • Ensure there are no gaps between the halves, indicating it is fully closed.
5. Test the Key Fob
  • Stand within the proximity of the vehicle and press the unlock button on the key fob.
  • Observe the LED indicator to confirm it lights up when buttons are pressed.
