Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface, and the engine is off.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shock.
2. Update Software
  • Reconnect the vehicle to Wi-Fi.
  • Access the vehicle’s settings and check for available software updates.
  • Follow on-screen prompts to install any updates.
  • Reconnect the battery terminal after updates are completed.
3. Inspect and Replace Throttle Position Sensor
  • Remove the engine cover if applicable.
  • Locate the throttle position sensor.
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the sensor.
  • Unbolt the throttle position sensor and remove it.
  • Install the new throttle position sensor and secure it with bolts to the manufacturer's torque specifications.
  • Reattach the wiring harness to the sensor.
4. Check and Replace Fuel Pump (if necessary)
  • Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump relay and starting the engine until it stalls.
  • Disconnect the battery again before proceeding.
  • Remove the fuel tank access panel under the rear seat or trunk.
  • Disconnect the fuel lines and electrical connectors from the fuel pump.
  • Unbolt and remove the fuel pump assembly.
  • Install the new fuel pump and reassemble all connections.
